Computers Systems

This Masters in Computer Systems Engineering provides an extensive introduction to state-of-the-art miniaturised and mobile computer systems and smart device technology. This allows you to acquire the complementary hardware and software knowledge and skills required to design and develop such systems. 23 Academic Year

Students will be equipped to enter a variety of cyber security graduate roles including software developer, information systems engineer and application analyst. The core of your third year focuses on distributed systems and advanced routing and switching concepts; building on the foundation of the first two years. You will develop an appreciation of the legal, ethical and regulatory frameworks focusing on developing your core employability skills. The Computing Project module helps you to develop specialist skills and expertise through the undertaking of a substantial body of work.

Irish qualifications

Fundamentals of data structures and core algorithms and analysis are also explored. All class based teaching takes places between 9am – 6pm, Monday to Friday during term time. Wednesday afternoons are kept free from timetabled teaching for personal study time and for sports clubs and societies to train, meet and play matches.
